growing up, one thing mattered to me more than anything else: sports. this led me to major in sport management at syracuse university, the place where kicks by carly began. during the first month of my freshman year, i had an idea to paint a pair of sneakers, reflecting the sports teams that i was a fan of. this eventually expanded into a full customization business being run out of my dorm room. while still enrolled as a full-time student, i grew my brand by creating officially licensed tailgate apparel, which was eventually sold on multiple different college campuses. over the past six years, i have had the opportunity to expand and work with numerous professional athletes, creating custom footwear and equipment that enables them to tell their personal stories on the field.
